The client

ZEtelecom is an operator and provider of telecoms solutions for businesses, from professionals and very small businesses to small and mid-sized companies and organisations on several sites. It does not only sell lines, it analyses what exists, deploys, monitors and supports.

Its old website ran on WordPress. We rebuilt it entirely, with redirects for all the old addresses, to keep the search ranking it had earned.

Discover ZEtelecom

We kept the drop and the “ZE” of the logo, and redrew them: the drop redrawn in a single colour, the “ZE” placed back inside it, the corners softened and the spacing of “telecom” adjusted letter by letter.

From the old logo to the new one, in about twenty seconds.

What we built

The website is designed so that a business owner quickly finds what they need, without knowing telecoms vocabulary.

  1. Feature 1, The eligibility test

The visitor types their address and the website queries two partner operators to find out which fibre offers reach them.

  2. Feature 2, The offer configurator

Instead of choosing a technology, they answer a few questions about their need, and the website points them to the right offer.

  3. Feature 3, The PackEdges

Packaged offers, ready to activate, for those who do not want to choose.

  4. Feature 4, The CSR estimator

The company compares its current telecoms with the same ones at ZEtelecom, and gets the CO₂ avoided each year and a rating from A to E.

  5. Feature 5, The Zeppii chatbot

Zeppii answers questions from the published content of the website, recommends an offer from the catalogue and collects a contact request when the visitor wishes.

Zeppii

Zeppii is the ZEtelecom mascot, a drop that changes expression and costume. It has fifty expressions, animated with Marotte, our mascot engine, and all drawn in Figma then integrated as SVG, so they stay sharp at any size.

Zeppii exists in fifty expressions, drawn one by one, and it follows the mouse with its eyes on the ZEtelecom website.

The technology

The website is a Laravel 13 monolith with Inertia and React 19, on PostgreSQL 18 and Redis 8, organised into domains, with a versioned API. Reviews come from the Google Business Profile listing, and the contact form is filtered by Herse.

Sat Access, the website of a ZEtelecom satellite offer, is built from this API: it reads the offers, the legal pages and the FAQ when it is published, and never from the visitor’s browser.

Everything you read on the website, the offers, the articles, the reviews, is edited from an administration area, without touching the code. The website keeps the most requested content in memory to answer quickly.

The Sat Access website reuses these same offers automatically, so an offer edited once is updated everywhere.

The back office

Behind the showcase, the ZEtelecom team runs its website on its own, from offers to the blog, in an administration area in the brand colours.

A parent website, a child website

Sat Access, a ZEtelecom offer, has its own website, but everything it displays comes from the parent website when it is published, so an offer edited once is updated everywhere.
