What we keep, what we redo

A redesign does not always start from scratch: we keep what serves you and has value for Google, and we redo the rest.

We keep

  • Your addresses

Each old address leads to its new page, to keep the ranking you have earned.

    As forZEtelecom
  • Your domain name

The redesigned site takes over your address, and we connect the domain when it goes live.

  • Your texts

Those of your current site stay. If you want to change them, you can supply the new ones, or have us write them for an extra fee.

  • Your current logo

It takes its place on the new site, as your customers know it.

We redo

  • The layout

Designed page by page in Figma and approved with you before the code.

  • The technology

The KMC site dated from 2007 and relied on technologies that no longer kept up, so we rebuilt it entirely.

  • Page weight

Measured with Grammage before and after: the new KMC Events site scores 87 out of 100, at about 0.22 g of CO₂ per page.

  • Your logo, if you wish

We redraw it with the site when it has aged or is hard to read.

How a redesign works

  1. Step 1, We look at your current site

We run your main pages through Grammage, which scores them out of 100 and calculates their CO₂, and we list all your addresses.

  2. Step 2, We design the new one

Each page is designed in Figma, and you approve the parts one by one before we write any code.

  3. Step 3, We rebuild

The site is rebuilt with current technology, using your texts or ours, and your Google reviews displayed.

  4. Step 4, We connect the old to the new

Each old address gets a redirect to its page, so that your visitors and Google find their way.

  5. Step 5, We go live

We connect your domain name, we publish, then we stay on hand for what comes next.

Redesigns we have done

Each case has its study, with the site, what changed and how we went about it.

What they say

“We are very satisfied with SOLYZON, and with Armand and Sarah, who were available, responsive and attentive to our needs. We were able to complete the redesign of our website, which had become outdated. Our goal was to make it more dynamic, more ergonomic and easy to use. All these criteria were met and fully match our expectations. Thank you to the SOLYZON team for their professionalism and their follow-up once the site was live.”

Frequently asked questions

Another question? Write to us at [email protected].

Will I lose my search ranking?

We keep your addresses when possible, and otherwise each old address is redirected to its new page, as we did for the whole old WordPress site of ZEtelecom. No redesign guarantees a ranking, but every existing link keeps leading somewhere.

How much does a redesign cost?

It is priced by quote, once we have seen your site. The price of a new showcase website, €1,600 excl. VAT for five pages, gives a benchmark, and the quote details every line before we start.

Do we have to redo everything?

Not always. We first measure your pages with Grammage: if the site is fine and only too heavy, we can slim it down without rebuilding it.

How long does a redesign take?

A five-page site takes two to three weeks. For a larger site, we give the timeline in the quote.

My site runs on WordPress, is that a problem?

No, that was the case for ZEtelecom. The new site is rebuilt with current technology, with a redirect for every old address.

Can you also redo my logo?

Yes, when it has aged: we did it for KMC Events and for ZEtelecom. A logo starts at €300 excl. VAT, and you can also keep yours.
